Spring MAP

All Lakeview students will be taking MAP tests next week.  Reading will be Monday, math Tuesday.  These tests are very important as they help us to see how students are growing academically, and where their strengths and weaknesses are.  Students should get good sleep Sunday and Monday nights, as well as eat a hearty breakfast Monday and Tuesday morning.  Students should also be encouraged to give their best effort while taking the tests.
Students in periods 1 & 4 will work on surface area next week.  Students in periods 2, 5, and 6 will solve proportions, and apply that knowledge to scale drawings next week.

April 20,2012

Students in periods 1 and 4 have finished their unit on simplifying expressions, and are starting work on volume.

Students in periods 2, 5, and 6 are finishing their unit on solving equations, and will be working with ratios next week.

April 13, 2012

Students in periods 1 and 4 are continuing their work with simplifying expressions. They are glad to be finished with their chapter 8 problem sets!

Students in periods 2, 5, and 6 are working hard at solving equations.

April 5

Students in periods 1 & 4 are finishing work with the Pythagorean Theorem, and will start work with combining like terms and simplifying expressions.

Students in periods 2, 5, and 6 are working on solving equations.
